Abinitio School of Dance offers a tailored, accessible class schedule, working towards exciting shows and, for those students considering a career in dance, examinations with the I.D.T.A (International Dance Teachers Association).
We have years' worth of experience and an encouraging mentality in moving students onto the next step, with several having successfully qualified and gone on to audition for the Northern Ballet Theatre and National Youth Ballet Company.
All children's grade classes are evening-based throughout the week (except on Saturdays when classes are in the morning). However, some class times and days can alter as the students progress through the grades. Although we generally keep age groups together, individual ability is taken into consideration, meaning each child is able to achieve their potential at their own pace.
Class prices range from £2.50 - £6.00 per lesson, payable monthly.
Private lessons are available to improve dance skills.
Students from Abinitio have gone on to The Royal Ballet School and SLP.

Weekday Evenings
- Pre-school tap, ballet and jazz age 3-5
- Age 5-7yrs, Street Jazz
- Age 8-10yrs, Street Jazz
- Age 11-13yrs, Street Jazz
- Age 14-18yrs, Street Jazz
- Graded work with optional examinations.
- Preparatory Grade age 5 – intermediate age 16+ in Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Modern Jazz.
